Kelly Osbourne will host the NYX Cosmetics fourth annual Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards show. The Osbourne family members are no strangers to the makeup world – both Kelly, and her mom Sharon, have had their own limited edtion lines by MAC Cosmetics. 

The competition will take place at Club Nokia at L.A. Live, in Los Angeles on August 22nd. The event will be live-streamed at nyxfaceawards.com and on the official NYX YouTube channel.

Six FACE Awards finalists will be announced, from which the Beauty Vlogger of the Year will be chosen to take home the grand prize of $25k. The five runner-ups will each receive $10,000.

“I’ve always believed in the transformative power of makeup which is why I’m so excited to partner with NYX for the FACE Awards,” said Kelly Osbourne. “It’s inspiring to see the amazing talent, passion and creativity of these makeup artists, and I can’t wait to see who wins at the show!”

Ve Neill, one of the most renowned makeup artists in the motion picture business – and also a judge on Face Off, the television show on the SyFy network.

Grav3yardgirl, also known as “SwampQueen,” who has more than 5 million YouTube subscribers and is one of the top beauty/fashion vloggers on YouTube.

Vegas Nay, aka Naomi, who has over 20 years’ experience as a professional makeup artist, including training by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli’s design team, and has gained a worldwide social network following on Instagram of 5.8 million fans and industry professionals.

Jade Taylor: As Senior Beauty Editor of Nylon, Jade covers the latest beauty products, tips and trends for the magazine. She’s been with Nylon since 2012.

Voting Opens for Finalists – Who Will Fly To L.A.?

Voting, by the public at nyxfaceawards.com, begins on July 24th. The 12 semi-finalists will create videos with makeup tutorials inspired by the next FACE Awards challenge theme, “Mermaid/Merman.” Six finalists will be chosen, based on the number of votes, to fly to L.A. for the final leg of the competition, and to star in the live event.
